I have an issue with compiz on Feisty that I think may be the same

When my laptop is suspended, the screen is locked, when it wakes it asks

The log file shows there were problems with the shadow password store
which makes sense as a point of failure:
e.g.:

I only have one monitor (the LaCie photon18blue, with two connectors),
which I thus connected to the Radeon on my G4 with both cables
simultaneously. BTW, in Mac OS X 10.4.9 the two connections now appear
as dual monitors: interesting, but hardly useful, with only one display.

Ok, further investigation here shows that this is not actually a
regression, just that the load on our server after the upgrade was
higher than earlier.
So, not a regression, but a general kernel bug during our extreme load
pattern here.

linux-image 2.6.15-28.55 regression from 2.6.15-28.53,
i just checked on a fresh installation - it does not hang, but i fear that the
bug was related to using accessibilty features (on screen key board - useful
when you login into a tablett that has no keyboard).
will reopen the issue if further tests reveal that the bug is still here.
