solution in version 0.4 of laptop-mode, which has been the shipped

Your hypothesis sounds good and takes care of all the problems that we
have seen with this bug. I'll try using F-spot's slideshow feature and

I wasn't able to make it to the installer; when trying to boot into
Ubuntu from the CD, it gave me an error and sent me to the terminal.
It turned out that my video card is an ATI mobility X1400. and the
installer didn't pick that up for some reason. I ended up instal

Yes, this is easily reproducible.
1) Copy a DVD ISO image to your home folder. Name it .bigfile
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cd ~
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -al .bigfile
-rw-r--r-- 1 reuben reuben 3740401664 2007-05-18 08:02 .bigfile
2) Run disk analyzer

I've unsubscribed ubuntu-universe-sponsors, as xterm is in main. Once a
new debdiff is created, including both the .desktop file and icon,
ubuntu-main-sponsors should be subscribed to sponsor the upload. Also,
a bug should only be In-Progress when it is also assigned - if you are
working on this,
I have exactly the same problem with one mp3 in my library. rhythmbox
crashes on the same spot every time when i play that file.
here is the backtrace (hope i typed the correct commands):
