On a fresh new install of Unbuntu 7.04 (on desktop machine, not laptop),
I had to install all bluetooth packages I found in Synaptic (weren't
there by default like in Edgy), then reboot and it works (well except
for mounting my Nokia FS via Symbian).
Before I reboot it couldn't pair.

OK, changing the language to US English gave an UTF-8 locale which fixed
the problems with terminals.
Sure the C locale is not very fitting for writing characters that are

I see that I have already tried v5.0.0.99-1, compiling from source, but
I backed out to v5.0.0 -- I don't remember the reason for going back, so
I'll try again.
Some observations with the LSB version:
- the .deb produced by converting the .rpm wants to install in /opt
instead of /usr/share (Ubunt
