The conflict here is that we don't want os-prober to detect e.g. the
filesystems mounted on /target for obvious reasons, but we do want it to
look at other mounted filesystems. I think the correct approach here is
for partman to write out a file with the list of filesystems that should

The vpnc patch pointed out by TomasHnyk (thanks for the pointers!) is
actually a better solution than I'd proposed -- allowing users to
configure the DPD timeout with a default value of 300 seconds, rather
than a hard-coded timeout. Setting the timeout to 0 disables DPD. Much
cleaner.

I can also confirm this bug.
Downgrading from nvidia-glx-new to nvidia-glx does not remove the file
/lib/linux-restricted-modules/.nvidia_new_installed. This causes the
wrong nvidia kernel module to be loaded (it loads the nvidia-glx-new
module, instead of the nvidia-glx one), and causes an API mi
its not happen coz there are missed files on many part of my system. and
i know this form anther bug

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem, I have Asus A3Ac notebook with
IrDA and Ubuntu 7.04 installed. The serial port seems to work OK, but
the SIR port gives me the same error as you experience. On the other
hand on the same hardware I had OpenSuSE with kernels 2.6.18 and 2.6.21
