Similar Problem, in Dapper and Edgy my bluetooth keyboard and mouse
auto-connected. Right after feisty update I have to fight and get the
keyboard/mouse working so I can login. When I try to run hcitool scan
nothing comes up. No such devices, and I can't get the devices to

resume switching to a virtual terminal shuts off the screen and I have to
reboot to get it back on.

The problem occurred because I did not remove amavisd.conf.disabled I
had planned to deal with the config changes after upgrading to feisty.
Once I removed the file in question dpkg was able to successfully
configure amavis
this is not a bug, you need configure the metamodes.

And you wish run a game in fullscreen (in the resolution 800x600). In this case

Using the nv drivers with acpi-support modified as above I can
suspend/resume multiple times.
Not sure if its relevant but using the nv drivers I have a different screen
resolution than with the nvidia drivers as my display
is best with a 1680x1050 resolution.

I tried almost everything that I found on internet connected with APIC.

I can confirm that same happens with my external Lacie 250GB HDD with
only single FAT-partition in Feisty. I cannot unmount throgh Gnome.
Partition just keeps remounting itself back.
However, using 'sudo umount' works just fine. Other USB memory stick

I have a original Futurama DVD (more than 4,7 GB) and I tried my "mount

upstream libopenraw has the packaging in git. I know, I did it. With the
package installed you just need to debuild gthumb.
So basically fixing the bug involve:
-package libopenraw with the upstream packaging
-add the -dev package as a build-depend in gthumb

My installation was failing when I had configured an existing boot
partition /dev/hda3 to be mounted as /boot during the install process.
I ended up not explicitly configuring a /boot mount (so that /boot would
be a folder in the root partition) the installation worked.

Well, those instructions give no clue how to cause HAL to be started in
debug mode on Boot. I don't see how I could use them to get any
applicable data for you anyway :(
