I have seen the same problem, and it makes kile + kdvi unusable on this fresh feisty install.
Specifically, the runaway gs process is: gs -dSAFER -dPARANOIDSAFER -dDELAYSAFER -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=png256 -sOutputFile=/tmp/kde-jjackson/kdviCtyh8b.png -sExtraIncludePath=* -g794x1123 -r96 -c << /PermitFileReading [ ExtraIncludePath ] /PermitFileWriting [] /PermitFileControl [] >> setuserparams .locksafe -f /tmp/kde-jjackson/kdvia07voa.ps I have used kile on a system that was upgraded from Edgy to Feisty, and didn't see this problem. I only see it now on this fresh install of Feisty.
