I made a test to type euro sign. KDE works with sequence compose key, C
and E. In Dvorak the same combination works but keys are obviouvsly

To clarify what my issue was and it's solution. I had two problems:
Port 902 was closed which kept remote users from connecting to vmware server:
This occured because xinetd had somehow gotten removed during the upgrade to
feisty. Installing xinetd and restarting the service fixed that.

files off my NAS in Edgy, however with the recent update to Feisty
suddenly I am experiencing the same thing, which means it problely has
something to do with device recognition on where the different file

I have the same problem. In Edgy all opengl games worked - but here in
Feisty the mouse keeps jumping to a particular location on the screen

I have a /var/lib/update-manager directory (which is empty), but no
/var/lib/update-notifier directory at all. With the quantity of error

With Edgy no problem : modprobe ppa after : mount -t ext2 /dev/sde1 /mnt zip
and i access to the disk.
With feisty : modprobe ppa , Iomega zip 100 appears in /proc/scsi/scsi but i
have no partition sde1 for access to my disk

I too have encountered the very same issues, symptoms and results as
those already reported in the previous posts. Working Edgy wireless
setup with WG511v1, WPA using Network Manager without wpa_supplicant,
ndiswrapper & netwg511.inf. Upgraded to Fiesty, and wireless no longer
works. Removed ndi
I have 12 LVs, without counting the one I would create for ubuntu. So I
guess I should wait about 36-39min to be able to proceed with the
partition? Isn't there any workaround?

I had this problem too. When I opened restricted-manager manually
(rather than through "Desktop Effects") and enabled the necessary
drivers, however, it worked.

Doing a suspend calls 'vbetool dpms off'
this command (also when called from a konsole) just takes CPU and never
returns. (and doesn't seem to do anything visually)
