Try running "dmesg" in a terminal. Or better still, have a script on your desktop which runs the line "dmesg > dmesg.log" and then run that once the issue has showed itself (by double clicking on it.) then, reboot, and attach the dmesg.log file here. If you need me to write you a shell script to do it, just ask.
