GAIM crashes whenever I try to start it. I have accounts on all major IM
services, and GAIM autologons to them all, so I have no idea if the

It seems that /target/lib/modules/2.6.20-15-generic does not exist yet when
volumeid package is installed and update-initramfs is invoked at first time.
I created the directory manually before d-i installed volumeid package and was
able to complete the install without errors.

Hi Jhon what i've done to downgrade to libx11-6 was to use aptitude to remove
this library, but this could be risky.
You may want to try to download the previous version of libx11-6
1.0.0-0ubuntu9 (dapper) and install it with dpkg -i

I recently installed 7.04 fiesty on my new 'AMD Dual core AM2 Socket M2V
motherboard with 80GB of space', replacing my openSUSE 10.2. It
installed fine but when I decided to reinstall. Using "Entire HD"
option as I did before. It installed then after rebooting, I got GRUB
Error 18.
