I can confirm this as well. This makes it hard to learn csound since this is a

Well, currently, no. The thing is that hurestore still doesn't work at
all so we are actually working on that for the moment. We have the fix
committed to our bzr tree, but we haven't produced a new package.

That did the trick. However I have used ubuntu since the beginning and
this was the first time it didn't work out of the box. This is an
upgrade to feisty. I can't confirm if the problem is present at a clean
install of feisty.

Which version of Ubuntu are you using, and what soundconverter package
is this?

I have it working with WEP since Feisty Herd5 - that's when I started to
use Feisty. Not sure if I had to do something special. Maybe I set a
static connection, but I am not sure.
I can confirm the 3rd point and it is really annoying. I think Network
Manager is not ready for Feisty. It's a step ba

Timo, I am not experiencing a crash but usplash does not play well. That
might well have to do with the experimental driver I am using . See bug

To provide further information, I am on Ubuntu 6.10 with 2.6.17-11-386
kernel. Also I have a Pentium 4 1.6GHz Hyper-Threading capable but, due

Actually it didn't configure itself, my terminal spit-up is gone because
