I have it working with WEP since Feisty Herd5 - that's when I started to use Feisty. Not sure if I had to do something special. Maybe I set a static connection, but I am not sure.
I can confirm the 3rd point and it is really annoying. I think Network Manager is not ready for Feisty. It's a step backwards - as far as I remember Edgy. Another annyoing thing is my boot up time when my laptop is offline. WLAN is switched of by a button on my laptop and no cabel is connected. Both things could be detected but Network Manager seems to try to bring up the interfaces which results in slow boot times (dhcp time out?). -- network-manager multiple problems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/91558 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
