My computer has got 2 regular network cards and a wifi card. Of the
regular cards, one uses DHCP and the other has a static NIC. In Edgy,
NetworkManager let me choose between the DHCP card or a wifi connection

that does work on SOME apps in my menu

My bug will not even mount EXT3 volume. And my root partition(reiserfs) is
hardly even accesible. Even simple commands such as 'init 1' 'reboot' 'sudo'
will not work since the console

In Ubuntu Feisty hpijs-ppds does not need to be installed. PPDs are
autogenerated by CUPS from foomatic-db-hpijs!

I can only agree with the others here. Potentially an awesome program
-- I'm trying to learn Chinese sitting in Taiwan -- but it's constantly
crashing on me with segmentation faults. I'm going to try to download
from source to see if that helps. Please let me know if anyone thinks
of any good so

dpkg-reconfigure system-services
but this didn't fix the tty files that I hadn't yet fixed myself.
A backup from a week ago of the tty files showed a correct last line so
I wonder how and why '/sbin/getty 38440 ttyn' got prepended.

It must have been a translation import problem, since libwnck has been
translated upstream since gnome 2.16. In any case, the 2.18 upstream version is
also fully translated:

Just for the sake of completion: I've just noticed that it couldn't have
been an import problem.
It is simply that those two strings are distro-specific and do not
appear upstream.
