OK, got it working... not sure if this is actually a bug or due to 3rd
party vendor's driver...
I have a Samsung ML-2010 Laser printer, and Samsung does provide a
driver for their printer. Here's what I did to get this working:
1) via CUPs web admin, I deleted the defined printer.

the driver is restricted, in the way ubuntu can distribute it, so needs

I think I found the problem. Reason was that I tried to copy around 6GB
file into fat32 filesystem. Fat32 maximum filesize is 4GB so nautilus
just crashed after copying that 4GB. I'm not sure if this is a bug in
Nautilus or in filesystem driver but at least it shouldn't crash.

So, here, the first songchange is done while on the ne (I forgot to unplug the
cable), then I changed songs twice, both times the program hung for a few
seconds.

Thank you Srik for uploading that file, but something is wrong with it.
The coredump that it includes cannot be unpacked (maybe got corrupted on
the uploading proccess)

Fixed now on my machine (also a Geforce4 chipset). Please make sure you
have the latest updates installed.
If it still doesn't offer you ***-legacy, then that means the current
list of cards isn't up-to-date.

Lucas, nvidia has a special handler in RestrictedManager/nvidia.py, it
uses the XorgDriverHandler in RestrictedManager/xorg_driver.py.
is_loaded() still checks whether the kernel module is loaded, but
is_enabled checks the current driver in xorg.conf. I

Running on Feisty, my IBM T41 laptop makes no sounds after it has re-

Simple, it was overriding however the atheros driver funnels my network
through wifi0 (a virtual interface), essentially as best as I can figure it,
avahi was trying to funnel the traffic through ath0:avahi, while the atheros
driver was also trying to funnel it through wifi0, turning off avahi stop
