Simple, it was overriding however the atheros driver funnels my network
through wifi0 (a virtual interface), essentially as best as I can figure it,
avahi was trying to funnel the traffic through ath0:avahi, while the atheros
driver was also trying to funnel it through wifi0, turning off avahi stopped
this.
