The machine is running Feisty Fawn beta, and is up to date.
The f-spot database comes from a previous edgy install (/ and /home are 2
seperate partitions).
I'm not sure how i can provide you with more info, since the application
doesn't crash (so no coredump), it just can't connect to d-bus

You know what's strange? I have no gnomescan installed at all. Only some
libraryes. Did a search in Synaptic after gnomescan and gnomescan

I had to manually add the repository using "sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list" as
adept would corrupt the file (adding "ÿ" to the end of some lines), but the
actual upgrade was just fine. I had to click "show terminal" to answer some

Same problem here, but with a Dell 2405FPW attached to an BFG 6600
(Nvidia chipset); the resolution when booting from CD is not set to the
native widescreen resolution of 1920x1200 but to 1024x768. This is with

The update-manager was working well. The ubgrade-symbol shows me 1085 ubgrades,
so I was running it overnight. No error happens. All my applications are
working too. It was really time to bring this upgrade-manager to work.
