an external keyboard there is no problem at all, but when using the
laptop keyboard Num Luck starts at unexpected moments (I am using an IBM

I tried to set the magic option to nvidia kernel module as per the
following URL:

As a result, the system is now able to return from hibernation and is
functioning almost normally,

I've been working on it, but had a big exam today I
removing myself from the list. For the Tecra A8, a new BIOS (3.30) has

I'm running dapper and I think I filed the original bug against
the libmotif-dev package there. The correct base location should be
/usr/share/man and not /usr/man. The latest version of libmotif-dev for
dapper is incorrect in this regard; I can't check edgy at the moment.

I must say I am forced to agree. Generally I am not a prude in any
sense, but a serious Linux distribution has to avoid even the *chance*
of something being misinterpreted as inappropriate.

I experience this exact problem with an Inspiron 6400 too. It does not happen
in all cases, but it is rare when it's working. Happens in three ways:
1. When I plug in the headphone, both the speaker and the headphone are muted
2. When I plug out the the headphone(which worked properly) the speaker

I used this tool to upgrade and it worked really nice, there is an
encoding issue in the dutch parts of the translation, but those are very
minor. The tool needs tweaking here and there, but overall it is ok.
I especially like the very intuitive diffs where there are conflicts. I
will use the tool
