You're right. the name of the machine is Xen but the kernel is stock
Ubuntu Feisty kernel. I will use this machine as Dom0 for my future Xen
install.

Sorry the upgrade cannot be preformed. I got an error when installing the

Technically, activating the interface isn't a problem. The problem is in
switching back and forth between static and DHCP-configured networks.

I also have this. Every time I resume, vbetool crashes. Anything I can

(The drive is currently working - as my number 2 drive - normally.
Writing (noncritical) data to the partition affected seems to have made,
as I hoped, the drive to assign backup sectors to replace the damaged

Wait a moment: if I create the user _after_ installing fuse-utils, the
user will be inserted in the group automatically if I am not wrong. This
is why I ask to make this behavior deterministic. If the group is listed
into a profile, the admin still decides in which profile to put an user.
