I must admit that setting in /etc/default/bluetooth:

makes my MX5000 set working in HCI mode on Edgy x86.
I loose it only after I boot to Windows and back to Edgy but then replugging

The effect you see here is that gdebi has to run as root for the actual
install. This switches the theme because it switches the user. We would
have to add something to gksu to preserve the theme.

Thanks for the update .. I am trying it with amarok 1.4.5 and will post results
here. It still hasn't completed the scan
So far it has crashed twice ... once at 7% and again at 43%, but that might
have been due to some issues with the network shares.
I have re-arranged my samba shares, blow
today i switch my computer to suspend mode and try press a reset button.
nothing done, the computer want not to reboot. (why?) i press power
button (computer is out of suspend mode) and then i press reset button.

I am going to mark this as rejected due to lack of response to those

duplicates, but I haven't seen any follow up from anyone having

Sorry, I probably should've tried the latest version first. I've
attached a few of the themes I used - the "MacOSX" one is the icon-only
theme, "Aero" has a full GNOME theme with widgets and window borders,

I have the same problem on both Kubuntu Fiesty and Debian Etch. KDE
layout switcher does not switch layouts anymore. Besides, every attempt
to switch layout with a hotkey generates 30+ lines in ~/.xsession-errors
at both systems:

as a follow up, looks my problem is solved... I was using a DFE-530TX+
adapter which uses the 8139 driver. I switched, and am now using the
internal intel ethernet adapter that comes on my motherboard, and all
looks well. What tipped me off was that I retried the operations I was
doing, but inste
