I switched the NIC with another one of the same type and put it into another PCI slot. Didn't change anything...
Then I let memtest86+ run and it also didn't detect anything. I then lowered the bus clock frequency from 133 to 100 MHz. Also no effect. So I'm quite stuck here. The only thing I can say is that it's not openssh related...
