Yes, this problem has been resolved in Edgy. I'm very sorry for the
delayed reply.
Edgy can suspend/resume fine when running XGL. I also was able to
successfully suspend/resume fine when running a full screen OpenGL

The problem is that when apport send the url to firefox there is a set
of paranthesis wrapped around the url string. If one opens the terminal
and does firefox "\"http://www.google.com\""; the problem is accurately
replicated. This is the same problem. the %22 in the url are double

/usr/lib/firefox/firefox "%s" Upon removing the quotes from %s, apport worked

More info: The double quoted web browser preference is set by firefox
itself. If you clear the box for prefered web browser and then tell
firefox to check whether it is the default www browser it will ask to
make it so. Upon telling it to make itself the default the prefered web
browser is /usr/
Yeah it was from a 1.4.5 version that I compiled on Edgy, but I was also
using the data before on 1.4.4 and 1.4.3.
I will try to compile amarok on Feisty, and I will let you know if the
problem continues on, when not using the Ubuntu package.

This is caused by the rc-default script, which invokes the default
runlevel once the rcS job has stopped.
It does this by a combination of grep on the command-line and
/etc/inittab files, then invoking telinit with whatever argument it
found.
It only handles -s/single/S being on the command line,
Adding more memory to the machine has solved the problem for me in
multiple cases.

I think it's a bug in xine because kaffeine has exactly the same
problem. I can't do a backtrace on amarok (because the debuging symbols

I'm afraid I can't try Feisty for my main desktop. I'm running software
RAID, which is known to get broken during upgrades (on top of all of the
other horrors that happen in Dapper -> Edgy upgrades).
I did try installing Feisty under Parallels, but the installer always
locks up, so I had to use C

In my case, yes, and it's the first of the list. In all cases where I
found more than one driver, the first one is the recommended one (and
the others are alphabetically sorted) , it is selected and on the button
it says Postscript (recommended) in english, and then on the right end

When I try to deactivate the screensaver the password prompt appears and
I enter my credentials however the dialog times out and the screensaver
does not deactivate.

This adds the features to pykde and adept necessary to run the dist-
upgrade tool.
kdelibs and kdebase get new functions to attach another process's pty to
konsole (kpty). pykde gets support for the konsole kpart. Finally
Adept adds a wizard to download the dist-upgrade tool and run it.

- please include the bug number and a detailled description of the code changes

- this adds a new function, thus this needs a shlibs bump

I just wanted to add a "me, too." We've now seen this on three different
machines (two different hardware setups). It seems to occur during
graphically-intensive operations. In our case, it has occured both
during Matlab figure generation and Tecplot drawing. One machine has an

Unfortunately there are less but still a lot of
untranslated/untranslateable messages in the KDE-Frontend although it
seems to be completly translated in Rosetta since last October.
