be quite difficult and complicated because of missing libtasn1-3
packages for dapper :(

Still happening - but just noticed something very weird!
/var/crash is PRE-POPULATED on the CD image!
That's right, when I boot from the LiveCD, there is already an app-
install crash file in /var/crash, and its timestamp predates the CD
image's.
So this appears to be the route cause of our prob

I've sent an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] about this minor issue. The
homepage for the project ( http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/ ) didn't
seem to point to any official place for bug reports. It looks as if the
project may be dead; we'll see.

Yes it's a gnomebaker linking issue. I don't know if it's a change in its
package or a compiler change since edgy but -rdynamic (or -export-dynamic) is
missing and handler functions aren't exported.

Talking about "Yes" and "No" in debconf templates is well-known to be a
bad idea, as it relies too much on the frontend presentation. kernel-
package should have a serious review of its use of debconf.

called early, cf gnomebaker/sc/main.c thread_init is called after a

was confused about this because I'm happily using an NFS share (mounted
statically in /etc/fstab) even without the nfs-common package. I had assumed
this was impossible, but clearly nfs-common *isn't* required for mou
