I can confirm this bug as well. I'm unsure if the problem is actually
related to 'gtk2-engines-gtk-qt' but it seems to originate from
applications using GTK toolkit running in KDE.
At times (apparently when changing color settings, etc. in 'kcontrol'),
applications like 'Firefox' or 'streamtuner'

Actually, it is heavily broken, sometimes it asks 3 or 4 times for the
same password in a row. It even locked up a few times after entering

I agree that this behaviior is more extream then we want it, dBeras
recent commits drop about half of the idle power used. Its just a matter
of finding the balance that people want.

The UDFS CDs are not mounted as UDFS but as regular CDs.
The default content with a .exe and a text saying it's UDFS is the only thing
readable from the CD.
The only way to read the data on the CD is to manually mount the CD with
-t udf at the

the tarballs had the same content (diff -Naur was empty), but different
checksum. I unpacked the debian version, made ubuntu-changes in it and
ran debdiff. Then I deleted anything config.{sub,guess} related from the
diff.

Sorry for not mentioning it! After a fresh installation of Dapper a swap
partition was created (and activated). Thus the problem seemed to be
solved in the Dapper installer.
