people who lost data due to moving data from the desktop to an USB stick
and pulling out the USB stick too early.

I don't think this is true, assuming file permissions are set
appropriately on the password file(s). I think a security threat comes
into play only if you walk away from a public terminal. But I could be
misunderstanding how KWalletManager works.

I'm currently using 2.0.0beta3.1 (default in edgy repo's I believe), but
was using a version <2.0.0 on Dapper not too long ago. The problem first
arose with the older version of Gaim, while I was still on Dapper. I
have never changed any of my settings, as I retain my /home whenever I
upgrade. At o
delete "localhost.localdomain" keyword, so it looks like this:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 osiris
and try again. still problem?

I'm developer from Guadalinex v4, what is a spanish Ubuntu derivative.
This is a important bug for as, because a lot of our users don't speak
(or read) english.
We're trying to fix it in the better way so if you got any plans for it

a lib needs a rebuild.
