A couple of lines should be added in system-tools-
backends/Utils/Platform.pm to recognize ubuntu-7.04 like ubuntu-6.10,
but given that feisty is supposed to fully use upstart (being
incompatible with the sysV-like init in Edgy), upstream will not add
Feisty support until there is code to handle up

I can confirm this bug also exists on the Powerbook 6,8 (12in 1.5Ghz) in
Edgy final. That means it occurs on the 12in 1.5Ghz model and the

I can confirm this works for me with the latest download, coded 112006
or 9.0.21.78. I had a Flash Player Beta installed when I initially
reported this bug, coded 101806 or 9.0.21.55. That version worked with
Firefox, but not with Liferea. It's possible that I had it installed in
/usr/lib/firefox/p

Upgrading from 6.06 to 6.10 --> mis
I located the problem. It's cause I use AHCI mode for Serial ATA. When I switch
to Ide mode (in BIOS), hibernate works. Thats why every error message above has
to do sthg with the filesystem.
Now the question is ... is it a general bug with AHCI mode + hibernate, or does
it only affect this chip
I've experienced the same bug only after last software update. About
three times in a row computer worked for 10-15 min and hanged. At first
time I haven't even done anything, I wasn't even logged in, because I

The root problem is that cdrecord scan /dev/sg* device when you specify
dev=bus,target,lun, because 1,0,0 is not necesserly mapped to /dev/sg1.
If you have a sata or scsi drive then you've got a /dev/sg* entry for this
device and since it's a drive a simple user has no read/write access
(hopeful

This time the tags were all in English and normal ASCII encoding. Some
of the file changes were saved and others weren't. That's when gstreamer

i.e. header files. I want to build a "rhythmbox-liveice" package what
Build-Depends on rhythmbox-dev including .h files if is possible.

out it was related to my hard drive not being properly detected. if you
remove "quiet splash" from the kernel boot options (in grub) you will
see that the last kernel message is "Waiting for root filesystem..."

If noticed one error in my initial bug report. The video needs to be
embedded in a web page for the error to appear. A url with extra
information does work when pasted directly into the address bar.
A example page would be http://www.novatv.nl/ , I could not find a
english language page for this.
But I've permissions to write to this file ?

All, I had the same problem ("FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper
(/lib/modules/2.6.17-7-generic/kernel/drivers/net/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper.ko):
