I can confirm this works for me with the latest download, coded 112006
or 9.0.21.78. I had a Flash Player Beta installed when I initially
reported this bug, coded 101806 or 9.0.21.55. That version worked with
Firefox, but not with Liferea. It's possible that I had it installed in
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ but not /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, so older
versions may work as well.

In summary, the fix is:
1) Download Flash Player 9 "Installer for Linux" from
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer9.html
2) Unpack the tarball. It produces a directory containing libflashplayer.so and
readme.txt.
3) Close Mozilla, Firefox, and Liferea.
4) Copy libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins and
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (alternatively, to .mozilla/plugins)
5) Restart Mozilla, Firefox, or Liferea. YouTube-arific!
