According to 'apt-file search mkiso' (or http://packages.ubuntu.com for that
matter) no /usr/bin/mkiso file exists in any edgy package in the repositories.
As such, it seems that this script is not part of ubuntu.
If you acquired/installed it from somewhere else please file a bug with the
author
Being tired of this I have completely reinstalled Edgy from freshly
downloaded CD. This solved the problem.

If my "backend" you mean to have some sort of command line tool to
create backups, thi is already possible using the BackupEngine.py
hubackup backend. Browse the source or so, and see how it's possible to

I tested it some more last night( pci=routeirq) and the mouse does
freeze after a certain amount of time so this isn't really a solution.
I have a usb hub that is not self powered and I have had same result

I have tested the gnome-vfs2 (2.16.2-0ubuntu1) package on edgy and
it really fix this issue.
- Allow operations on file handles that were created in another
DaemonConnection. (This fixes e.g. smb browsing) (Ubuntu: #60277)

If update-grub detects your root on /dev/mapper it will check if it is a
dmraid, and then decode which real disk this resides on. (Currently, it

Seems like title=Debian is set inside update-grub. Which version of grub
do you have (dpkg -l grub)? Please attach /sbin/update-grub anyway.

Same problem here. Presumably, one can work around it for now by
installing CDT via the Callisto Discovery Site: "Help / Software Updates
/ Find and install..." I haven't tested this yet, though.
