This is a bug in the gnome-bluetooth code. You can issue "hciconfig hci0
inqmode" as root to set your device back into the inquiry results mode
for Bluetooth 1.1 devices. Then it should find remote devices again.
To be 100% clear, this is a gnome-bluetooth bug and not an issue of the
functionality
Hi,
afaik skim is only a front-end for scim. So Skim should also work with
gnome-apps (but since i'm neither a skim-dev nor a skim-user, i can't
say anything competent at this place :D).
Maybe you could ask the skim-devs to also support gtk-apps?
Regards,
Lothar

This happens to me also. Nothing shows up in any logs. Its not a full
freeze, I can ssh in and do things.. but something is messed up. Alot
of things don't work. This needs to be fixed.

Thanks for the follow-up. As this doesn't seem to be directly related
to scim, I am punting this bug to language-support-zh. Hope some
Chinese testers can help reproducing this bug.

Sorry for the tone of my previous message (I was jetlagged). To explain:
this site is Launchpad; Ubuntu uses Launchpad as its bugtracker; and the
Launchpad team also use Launchpad to track bugs about itself. Your
problem with broadband is about Ubuntu, not about Launchpad itself, so
