Beagle can only index pdf files when poppler-utils has been installed.
The package recommends it, if you have poppler-utils installed, and
still get no results after letting beagle re-index, please refile.

The title explains it all. When running a program using kdesu the

Ubuntu Edgy.
I can't disable "logout" shortcut binded to my multimedia "power down"
button. I have set "disabled" in System->Preferences->Keyboard
Shortcuts->Log out, still it works, and logout screen pop ups when I hit
the button.

This is due to a UUID of a partition changing when it gets formatted
(ie, during your feisty install).
The fix is to modify it in your /etc/fstab. An easy way to list all your drive
ID's is by:
ls -lh /dev/disk/by-uuid/
However, it is slightly inconvenient for those who dual boot.

Could you please test if the latest development snapshot (SVN revision
50) still returns 0.0? You'll need to compile it yourself, as I don't
have access to an AMD64 machine. Instructions to obtain it is available

I hit the same bug... in fact kdesu does not accept the sudoer password
anymore... but if you have set up a password for the root user, this
password is accepted. So the sudo/kdesu patch is broken, it worked till
three or four days ago.

Normally since edgy (afaik) the radeon module is loaded at boot time.
/proc/acpi/processor/CPU0/power tells me that my processor uses only the
c2 state when the module is loaded and X is running on the active
terminal.
Without the module loaded, my processor uses the states
