I found out it has something to do with wpa_supplicant. When I am
outside my home WiFi-network, Gnome starts normally. I tried to change
my SSID in /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf to "blablabla", and then it also

Same bug here with Kubuntu Edgy, but never met before with Dapper and
the same hardware.
Please fix the problem, if you need a ssh login just ask, but fix this

It appears that I don't get a full colour depth resolution at my left screen. I

receive an error message : error while writing to disc, try a lower

I believe that's expected. Importance for us is relative to the whole
distro, not relative to the package, isn't it? By that measure, we
can't consider the upstream severity when setting our own.

I've seen the other crash reports. Since the previous Reports where
about crashes on Computers with Nvidia-Cards I wated to report that
PouetChess has crashed on my system which has a ATI Graphics Card.
I was playing it against the Computer-AI and made my 3rd move when the

Maybe I should add that my AP:s SSID is something else. I correct the
SSID after starting gnome. This makes the startup-time faster for me.
Maybe I should just change to WEP.

I upgraded from 6.06 LTS (ubuntu with kubuntu + xubuntu added later) with the
recommended command:
gksu "update-manager -c"
During install, two packages (?) failed and I got a message asking me to
report the problem.
I'd include the log files in full, but that'd be .5MB, 71

Hey everyone, I'm the upstream Beagle maintainer. There are a few
different issues in this bug:
* Excessive CPU usage in beagled-helper on certain files (.jar, .js, .m
being the main ones): This is a bug in the freedesktop.org xdgmime
implementation which Beagle uses. It was fixed in the GTK+ c
maybe you can close the bug...
i builded succesfull BMPx-0.34rc1, which has libglibmm-dev as build-dep too.
certainly the bug was from BMPx.
