The bug seems to not apply in edgy because the time-admin GUI has
changed (no OK button any more) but I have found another bug with time-
admin which i'll report now (if it doesn't already exist).

I have now deleted the via-agp.ko module; agp is now of course disabled.
Gnome now still freezes after about 1 minute, but differently: applets
are still working (showing activity) , I can move the mouse, but I
cannot right or left click -> there are no actions to my mouse
