ppa i am stuck with a non-working me-tv setup now anyways. I solved
that for me by jumping to kaffeine which is ok as well.

The point is w-scan / w_scan is not mentioned in the me-tv
documentation, and this is causing serious confusion for the users. It
needs to be mentioned somewhere in the docs for me-tv.

Me-tv 1.4.0 don't have a scan module. You have to generate a channels.conf
with w-scan then import it in me-tv.
