since i jumped back & forth between stable builds and those via the dev ppa i am stuck with a non-working me-tv setup now anyways. I solved that for me by jumping to kaffeine which is ok as well.
apart from that: wasnt earlier versions of me-tv able to scan and even pointed directly to existing channel-files for each country which the dev-builds havent for me? So basically i never needed to create a channel file with 1.2.x versions iirc - the current stage seems less user- friendly but i might mix things up here. anyways - i would agree to bobo that the docs could mention w-scan as it might help other users for the future.
