Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could
test with it so we can work
This problem no longer exists on Xubuntu hardy post-alpha 6, but I've
only tested it on the i386 version. Could someone confirm this on
AMD64? (I made the initial report on an AMD64 machine.)
Steps to reproduce functioning program on Xubuntu i386:
1) install xubuntu
2) sudo apt-get install quodl
I'm running kubuntu, and installing gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs would install
some packages I don't need/want, like "gamin"... Is there another
workaround for Kubuntu users?

gstreamer0.10-gnomevfs.
quodlibet now works again.

I ran quodlibet for quite a couple of months on edgy. The other day I updated
to feisty.
Now quodlibet does not run any longer, coming up the the exact message as Jim
reported.
