This problem no longer exists on Xubuntu hardy post-alpha 6, but I've
only tested it on the i386 version. Could someone confirm this on
AMD64? (I made the initial report on an AMD64 machine.)
Steps to reproduce functioning program on Xubuntu i386:
1) install xubuntu
2) sudo apt-get install quodlibet (no other add'l software has yet been
installed on xubuntu)
3) software and dependencies download and install correctly
4) play sample .ogg file from xubuntu Examples folder
5) listen to the beautiful music :)
