Thanks for such a quick response, this is now fixed.
I did as you suggested and found that hp-systray was not running. I
tried to start it and found that something had not been installed
(sorry, I was in a rush and don't recall what that was). Downloaded the
missing package and all working again
Please follow the instructions of the sections "USB printer", "CUPS
eror_log", and "Capturing print job data" on
