The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
I have the same problem:
0. Booted from Gutsy Desktop i386 (final), on Acer Travelmate 3000. Using Live
CD from external firewire DVD/CDROM.
1. Quit (on gnome panel): Susped
Computer goes to suspend, fan is turned off, suspend light lit.
2. Click any key to wake up
Seems to wake up normally. Ope
Unless lib-ata fixes in the Feisty Beta series magically fix this resume
problem, it likely won't get addressed until the next major release.
Suspend/resume is quite dependent on upstream kernel work that is going
on right now.
