I have the same problem: 0. Booted from Gutsy Desktop i386 (final), on Acer Travelmate 3000. Using Live CD from external firewire DVD/CDROM. 1. Quit (on gnome panel): Susped Computer goes to suspend, fan is turned off, suspend light lit. 2. Click any key to wake up Seems to wake up normally. Open programs seem to run mostly. 3. Try to start any program from Applications menu. They fail to start. "Failed..." 4. Run any program from gnome-terminal, eg. "xclock" "... Input/output error", program fails to start. 5. Dmesg shows IO error, trying to read dead device
Suspend works with this computer on Dapper with some manual changes to configuration files. -- [Feisty] HP dv2007ea does not wake from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/95029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
