DHCP is working properly now on Feisty with Ubuntu (I don't have Kubuntu
installed).

dhcp not working automaticall
Since fridays updates dhcp is now starting automatically again for me.
However, knetworkmanager says it has not found any network devices and
displays an error icon in the tray.

I can reproduce this with the Feisty 7.04 Beta i386 CD and an updated
hard disk installation. I'm using a simple desktop box with one network
card. My network has a DHCP server. When the box comes up, ifconfig
reveals that the network card has no IP address. I can resolve this
manually by running
Same for me, with edgy my WiFi connection to a router was auto enabled
at startup, which permitted me to do connection sharing to another PC.
Even more, in feisty knetworkmanager seems unable to initiate dhclient
when i try to connect it to this network (which is BTW unencrypted).
