xserver-xgl has been deprecated upstream, and removed from Intrepid.
Closing the bug as won't fix.

I'm getting the same behavior on my amd64 system (ATI). This happens
occasionally when I lock the screen, just when the screensaver should
start:
Xgl[5849]: segfault at
I found out what caused my problems, the xserver-xorg-core package
overwrote my glx module that nvidia had installed many moons ago.
To keep that from happening again I added a diversion:
dpkg-divert --divert \
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so.original\
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensi
Oh, I didn't see that this was targeted to xserver-xgl only, I'm using the
nvidia driver (the tainting binary one).
But still I think this is related to something common to our configurations.

I've seen this too, it's somehow related to screen locking or screen saver.
My X server crashes immediately when i choose "Lock Session" in the KDE menu in
ubuntu.
It also crashes when I try to turn off the screensaver.
I've just recently (auto-) removed all packages depending on ubuntu-desktop a
Enclosed the full crash report.
