IF this is the case then it's not a bug in the rfkill tool but in the
drivers' rfkill utility. The best I can do is reassign this to the
'broadcom-sta' package.

You can put the commands in /etc/rc.local (no sudo's needed as this file
is run as root).

Those three commands worked, wireless turned on and I was able to
connect to the internet. So, how to:
1. Make these commands execute automatically every time I boot
2. Get this corrected so future releases of Ubuntu do not have this issue...

I will try this later this evening. Is this any different than what I
have been doing? I have been doing an sudo rfkill unblock all, wirless
is still not working. Then I go into the network app, click off
Airplane mode, then click wirless on and off several times and I mean
several times. Event
