I will try this later this evening. Is this any different than what I have been doing? I have been doing an sudo rfkill unblock all, wirless is still not working. Then I go into the network app, click off Airplane mode, then click wirless on and off several times and I mean several times. Eventually the wireless light on my laptop kicks on and Ubuntu sees my wirless SID.
