well... The logs definitely were gone. All of them. And I had no other data
loss whatsoever, so I'd dare say it cant have been a disk or fs fault.
The only other software that messes around in this place would probably be the
beagle indexer. As buggy as beagle seems to be, I wouldnt be too surpri
I don't believe that's possible. There's not a single call to rmdir()
in the Gaim codebase, so I don't see how any directories could have been
deleted. There are a few calls to unlink(), but we would have had to
screw up pretty badly to write code that accidentally recursed through
your logs dire
CORRECTION: Sorry, there is a typo in the original report:
All files and subdirectories in the ".gaim/logs/" Folder have been
deleted! Nothing else. (As if that werent enough)
