well... The logs definitely were gone. All of them. And I had no other data loss whatsoever, so I'd dare say it cant have been a disk or fs fault. The only other software that messes around in this place would probably be the beagle indexer. As buggy as beagle seems to be, I wouldnt be too surprised. On the other hand there are a lot of potentially buggy gaim plugins, too. Maybe it even has something to do with the protocol name change I mentioned in bug #88647.
