Really bad artifacting on Lenovo S
Yikes... somehow I completely overlooked updating this.
Anyway, at some point (not sure when) and update did indeed resolve this
issue. Unity seems happy, though the whole system seems a little
sluggish (but that's to be expected on a first gen Atom with only 1.5GB
RAM shared between video and CPU
We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the
original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to
reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against

Nearly the same happen on my Lenovo S10 with Kubuntu when I did the upgrade to
oneiric,
After login, the login screen fade to a black screen, only the mouse pointer
are visibel
and can hear the login sound. Sometime a message box appears e.g. from akonadi
or nepomuk.

This affects me too. Thanks for the picture. At first I thought the
artifacts were caused by compiz when I was swtching between viewports
with Ctrl-Alt left/right/up/down. But now I see that dragging a window
within the same viewport causes the artifacting. So was guessing this is
a compiz issue. I
Bumping this to High. It's really bad from a usability standpoint.
I should also add that this ONLY seems to affect Unity 3D on my S10.
When I switch into Unity 2D, the artifacting is not an issue.
