I just installed the new 8.1.1 version from
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html (.deb package)
in Feisty.
It doesn't look good... The default is still Letter (which you can see from the
page dimensions in the preview thumbnail), and if you click "Properties" it
DOES

Same here.
acroread also ignores the settings made with the cups web interface
(http://localhost:631).
It could be a problem with the gtk printing dialogue as it also happens with
firefox, although this can be fixed by the setting
"print.postscript.paper_size" in about:config.
