This does affect me. I managed to fix it pretty simply by symlinking py-
modindex.html to modindex.html. e.g., sudo ln -s
"/usr/share/doc/python2.7/html/py-modindex.html"

Why has a bugfix not been issued for this for Ubuntu 11.04? It is
trivial to resolve.
I have attached the missing file for those of you tired of waiting for
the Ubuntu Python team to come and fix this, I have attached the missing
file. Save the file and then in the Terminal, do
sudo cp modindex.h
Is there a workaround in natty, besides installing Oneiric?
