Problem seems resolved for me after a huge uninstall

huge uninstall (all packages referred in #5)

http://apt.wxwidgets.org/lucid-wx is not a ppa instead is the official
wxwidgets .deb . I get it

Ubuntu does not support packages from third party repositories, so I'm
closing this as invalid.
When I asked about this bug on IRC, someone mentioned that ppa-purge
might be a way to get the dependencies right, but the person didn't know
for sure. (And I'm afraid I cannot help you with that part e
i have untick the wxwidgets http://apt.wxwidgets.org/lucid-wx main repo and
update the local cache. I retry to install but no luck. What's the way to
resolve?

When i go to install myself the requested dependencies i get
I try to install libwx-perl
libwx-perl:
Depends: libalien-wxwidgets-perl but it is not going to be installed
I try to install libalien-wxwidgets-perl

When I ran "sudo apt-get install padre" here, it installed without any
problems.
Do you still have this problem on Lucid?
