Gwibber downloads any direct messages from twitter and then saves them
locally within the application. When they are within Gwibber it is the
user's responsibility to manage them. Deleting direct messages through
the twitter website will therefore not delete any twitter messages
within Gwibber. Tha

I am able to replicate the issue you are talking about. After deleting
direct messages from twitter they are still appearing in Gwibber. You
can delete the messages within Gwibber by hovering your mouse over the
message and then cli
