as a duplicate of bug 75574. It's a kernel issue, and was originally by
design, as there were standards that at one time actually required
The message "file size limit exceeded" may have been because the tar
file had become larger than the filesystem was able to cope with. How
much data were you dealing with?

the whole story:
i am trying to reconfigure my hard disks thats why i'm moving files from one
disk to another but while moving mp3 files, there are so many of them,
problem occur and says nonunicode chracter ... so i have to skip moving that
file but this way it takes so much time and becomes hard
