upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

same bug here on a T43 / Ubuntu 8.04. I can remember everything having
worked in 5.04
i just give you the whole -maybe- relevant output of dmesg, maybe it

I have the same problem with 8.04 and my T42...
I don't think the HD or the CD/DVD are working correctly.
